Companies House Fees Are Changing From 1 February 2026

As of 1 February 2026, Companies House has officially updated its fee structure for several key digital filings. These changes are part of their ongoing efforts to fund enhanced investigative powers and digital security under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act.

If you are planning to incorporate a new business or complete your annual filings this month, please be aware of the updated statutory costs.

Summary of Updated Digital Filing Fees

The following rates are now active for all digital submissions:

  • Digital Incorporation: The fee has increased to £100.
  • Annual Confirmation Statement: The digital filing fee is now £50.
  • Voluntary Strike Off: The fee for closing a company digitally is now £13.

How This Affects Your Invoicing

For our clients who have their statutory filings managed by us, you will notice these updated figures reflected in your upcoming invoices. As a reminder, we pass these statutory fees on at cost; our own professional service fees remain unchanged.

Keeping Your Records Up to Date

With the increased cost of filings, it is more important than ever to ensure that the data submitted is accurate the first time. Mistakes in incorporations or confirmation statements can lead to rejected filings and potential double-charging if a resubmission is required.
